BakFlip FiberMax Tonneau Cover

Notes/Special Instructions (if any):

BakFlip FiberMax Fiberglass Reinforced Hard Folding Tonneau Cover

The BakFlip FiberMax is BAK’s all new hard folding tonneau cover that combines both Aluminum and Fiberglass reinforced polymers in it’s composition. The underside of the BakFlip FiberMax is made from rugged aluminum for structural stability that’s evident in all other BakFlip tonneau covers. The Aluminum underside does not expand or contract in varying climatic conditions and ensures that each panel remains rigid and reliable.

The top surface of the BakFlip FiberMax is made from a UV protected Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP), making the Fibermax impact resistant, scuff resistant and impervious to knocks and dings. The Fibermax is the perfect tonneau cover for trucks that are subjected to a lot of hail, snow and daily wear and tear. The BakFlip FiberMax folds completely open, and critically folds beyond the 90 degree point behind your cab. This ensures that it is in FMVSS-108 compliance. The FiberMax is an OEM approved tonneau cover and sports all the fine features that have made the BakFlip the best selling folding tonneau cover in the world. Much like its sibling the BakFlip F1, the FiberMax offers solid reliability and functionality.

The FiberMax can best be described as a BakFlip G2 with an FRP top surface, rather than aluminum.

Heavy duty tonneau covers like the BakFlip FiberMax are designed to be used on a daily basis. The all aluminum tonneau cover sub construction is sleek and sturdy and will not expand or contract like a plastic or vinyl tonneau cover. Although the BakFlip FiberMax is a heavy duty tonneau cover, it is still lightweight and easy to operate. Just because it is strong, does not mean that it actually has to be heavy to operate. The components used in the BakFlip FiberMax gives this heavy duty tonneau cover rigidity that is almost impossible to bend, yet it is so easy to operate that even a young child can fold the panels open.

The BakFlip FiberMax is also designed to be operable from both sides of the truck. It locks securely and the panels automatically latch as they are closed. The BakFlip FiberMax has slam latches under all panels and needs no manual adjustment or operation. Locking your tailgate will render the BakFlip Fiberglass completely secure too, so you never need to worry about extra keys or exposed locks to the elements.

BAK Industries is serious about building heavy duty tonneau covers. The BakFlip FiberMax is the perfect tonneau cover for someone looking for a reliable, hard-working cover that will look good over the long haul and won’t break the bank. It is incredibly strong and is generally considered more of a safe for the back of your truck than just a cover. We have tried to take the same approach to building this sort of strength into all our folding tonneau covers. The BakFlip FiberMax sports all of the great features you’d expect from a BAK tonneau cover.
